My parents and brother also came but didn't get there til late Friday night. My parents are in town visiting from Guam and were kind enough to come with us to watch Margaux while the husband and I manned the booth all day Saturday. I think they enjoyed spending the time with Margaux ;)
The show didn't open on Saturday until noon so we were able to have a nice leisurely breakfast with Katie & Andrew of Passive Juice Motel and Erin of Sunshine and Carousels. The restaurant we ate at had a bunch of playhouses out on their patio and furniture made of astroturf, ha! So weird and kind of awesome.
Anyway, the show was really fun! I got to meet a lot of awesome people and Juliette Lewis even stopped by. Of course she showed up just as I was walking out the door to put Margaux to bed but whatever. Oh I also met a bunch of people I've met through Instagram which was kind of awesome! I didn't know how many Tulsa "followers" I had ha!
I'm glad to be home and that I have this weekend free. Next weekend is the Urban Street Bazaar and the week after that I'll be at the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market. After that I will be avoiding shows at all costs. It's tiring you guys! Plus I have a bunch of photo shoots coming up which I much rather spend my energy on. Speaking of which, if you're local to Dallas I have 2 spots left for mini shoots. Let me know if you're interested!

Loved the little photo of Kum & Go... Those are on EVERY corner in Springfield (well, just about). It's the only place I'll get my gas! ;)

You're so sweet! Hopefully you and I will cross path some time :)
Deleteyou're booth looked so pretty! Simple is good sometimes. you want your photos to really stand out. my husband and I both really liked driving through Oklahoma when we moved to Arizona. its a nice place. shows are so tiring. I did a few events in phoenix before Carolina was born and I loved it but I was beat by the time I got home. I can't wait to see some photos from your fall photo shoots! They're always so lovely :)
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that I stopped by to ask if you were in Iowa because of the Kum & Go sign?? :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lot of fun at the indie emporium. And I love the picture of your little cutie in the "lawn chair"
