Thursday's Things: Tea Edition

Like I've mentioned a billion times so far it's been ridiculously hot here...On Saturday we'll break the record in Dallas for most consecutive days over 100 degrees (42 days).  In. Sane.  Consequently I have been dreaming of fall and my favorite favorite beverage: tea.  I love tea...Almost any kind of tea, really.  I have never really been a coffee person but I could drink tea all day.  I drink it out of mugs but I really love to drink it out of a pretty teacup with a cookie or two (my cookie of choice is speculoos, a Belgian cookie...it reminds me of my grandmother's house).

In the summers I drink unsweetened iced tea or iced chai lattes but it's not the same...Hot tea has inspired some pretty pretty photography and art...here are some of my favorites.

And a recipe for homemade Chai tea...I plan on making this and turning it into Popsicles to try and beat this heat...

I have been drinking iced green and black tea like it's going out of style! Lightly sweetened though... unless I'm really in the mood for unsweetened. :) I honestly prefer it to water when it's hot as heeeck. Love all the tea inspiration. :) Sea Marie

Nice post! I love tea-all different types. I have to drink a black tea with coconut milk and honey for breakfast, after that I switch it up during the day. I've been drinking tea since I've been around 6 I think? I really do love those sinful chair lattes too.

I've had that same chai syrup recipe for over a year and still have not tried it! If you try the popsicles, let us know how they turn out!

I love making my own iced black tea in the summer. I mix in a little black apricot tea in it to make it a little fruity and sweet without too much sugar. I can't wait for fall when I start drinking hot tea again

I love these pictures! Not a big tea fan at all (in fact I hate it, haha) but I love dainty tea cups :)

I didn't know tea can fight cavities. Cool.

I love this post! I will take tea over coffee any day and I do, most every day. :) I think my favorite is the tea facts print. Very fun! I would love a collection of sweet tea cups. Also need to find a unique tea pot.

Those photos and doodles are lovely...the heat is not, we are having that kind of weather here too, we were 114 one day and OMG I was not happy, it feels so bad...we have been between 90 and 104 so I can't wait for winter!

I just saw you added my button, thank you so very much pretty lady!

I love all of these. And I know what you mean, I made iced green tea yesterday but all I really wanted was hot tea and sugar cookies but I would have melted and it's not nearly as hot here as it is there!

I love tea. I usually drink green tea in the summer. This summer I've been mixing it half and half with lemonade. I love black tea-lemonade (unsweetened) from Starbucks. So I figured why not green tea. Delicious.

I actually had a cup of hot tea this past week! In this part of the country we just had our first 90+ degree day yesterday. It was the first 90+ degree day in 360 days. We are not suffering from heat like everybody else.

I always love your cute finds!
