Yesterday was a snow day...well, more like an ice day. Then around 4 P.M. the news announced that my district was cancelling classes for Wednesday too! Oh Happy Day! Two snow days in one week?! Fabulous! I'm secretly hoping they call it a snow day tomorrow too. I pretty much love being at home. I know some people are going stir crazy but I'm not one of those people. I can always find something to do, especially since we're going to be putting our house on the market and decluttering is needed.
Yesterday was taken up by finally getting around to writing and posting this tutorial, baking bread from scratch and washing the dogs who were getting mighty stinky. There's actually not really much snow outside but don't be fooled! There is a nice thick layer of ice on pretty much everything. It seems the roads in our neighborhood are fairly dry but I've been watching the news and boy, those highways are not looking good. The temperature has been below freezing since early Tuesday morning and it won't get up higher than freezing until Friday.
I haven't been outside since Monday afternoon. Yesterday I didn't get out of my pajamas all day. Today I decided to put some clothes on and do Wardrobe Wednesday despite the fact that I won't be heading outside today either. At least I hope not...
Earrings that came in the mail on Monday. My friend Charity from the blog A Lovely Little World sent me this pair of earrings she made after I complimented a pair she was wearing in a photo. How sweet is that?! I wore them all day yesterday with my pajamas and will be wearing them all day today too...aren't they purty? Thank you Charity!
