Hello, lovelies! I’m Tiera from Side Culture (my personal blog, where I write about family, friends, food, finds and fun), and I’m so happy to share cupcakes in a jar with you! These delicious creations are perfect for a party favor or holiday gift. And since they’re oh-so easy to put together, and made with cupcakes, feel free to indulge for any occasion ;)
What you need (Per jar):
- One jar (Glass mason ones work great, and are always tres chic)
- Two cupcakes, baked and cooled (I used store-bought box mix; Yellow and rainbow chip)
- Four (heaping) teaspoons of frosting (Again, the pre-made variety; Cream cheese and milk chocolate)
- For decoration: Ribbon, bow, gift tag, spoon, etc.
What to do:
- Cut each cupcake in half horizontally (You’ll end up with two “bottoms” and two “tops”, like hamburger buns!)
- In the jar, start with a bottom slice and spread a teaspoon of frosting over it; Follow with a top slice, and spread a teaspoon of frosting over that
- Repeat for the second cupcake
- Cover the jar with the lid and decorate for gift-giving (Or grab a spoon and enjoy!)
So what do you think of these? Pretty sweet, huh?!
Let me know if you make some cupcakes in a jar of your own, and be sure to visit me at my blog Side Culture or on Twitter and say hello!
Here’s to a happy (and and yummy) holiday season :)
Cheers!
Tiera

Good grief, this is an adorable idea!
Cupcakes are so hard to give, and I haven't found any good packaging or carrying cases for them, so this is perfect!!
