1. Learn to speak (better) French & Spanish...
2. Go out more & get out of the rut of just going out to dinner to the same places & to the movies...try new things!
3. Have more dates with myself...
4. Plan 2 mini trips during the year & one major trip for the summer...
5. Be more healthy...
And the results...
1. My Spanish is a teensy weensy bit better but not much. And I didn't spend any time on French. Oh well, goals are meant to be broken, right? RIGHT?! :P I don't really care, it was just something I wanted to do...still want to do, but it's not a necessity.
2. I did get this goal done! We did a whole lot of new things in 2010. We tried a lot of new restaurants, went to new hangouts, met new people and went on a few adventures. I hope to keep this going in the new year.
3. I kind of did this except most of my dates involved staying home and drawing or crafting or just watching TV. I happen to be one of those people who enjoys spending time alone and could do that for long periods of time.
4. Done! But we did our major trip in December (a post on this to come soon :). We went to San Francisco in August, Colorado in June, and NYC in March. Also we took a mini trip during our major trip, haha. We've been trying to travel as much as possible before the baby comes. We'll be planning a trip to the Seattle area over spring break to check out places to live :)
5. I've been trying to be more healthy. Mostly this has come in the form of eating more fruit and vegetables. Being pregnant has really influenced this more since now I have to think about what I'm feeding this thing in my belly and not just what I'm feeding my body. I'm wanting to do more exercising which was really difficult in my first trimester since I was exhausted all the time but I do have at least some of my energy back.
Not too bad, but the thing is I make goals and then forget them haha! But I guess that's part of the fun...to see how closely I can stick to my goals without consciously trying to stick to my goals. So without further adieu, my goals for 2011...
1. Be Healthy...I'd like to eat even better than I have been and exercising much more frequently. I'm trying to find an aquatics center or something nearby because I love to be in the water and swim and think it would be especially good when I get to be as big as a house :) I also want to get in the habit of walking regularly. I'd like to get a treadmill but think it may be a bit impractical :P
2. Start a savings account for the baby...Duh. I'd like to save at least 100 bucks a month from now until the baby is 18. That should pay for at least one year of college by the time it's ready to go :P
3. Sell our house and find a nice apartment in the Seattle area. We have been planning to move to the Seattle area but we have to sell our house first. Which means we have to do some landscaping and some home improvements. Nothing is easy, eh?
4. Don't cut my hair (other than trims). I want to try to grow it out and I think I can make it one year. I hope. Usually I just get bored and chop it all off, but I hope to fight that urge and have some long locks by this time next year :)
5. Make more time for crafting. I have tons of projects I'd like to start but never get around to. I want to make a conscious effort to set aside time specifically for working on those projects. Especially in the first half of the year before I'll have a baby to deal with.
What are your goals? Is there anything specific you want to accomplish in the new year?

2 little lovelies:
Great list girl! One of my goals is to learn Spanish. I was debating about buying Rosetta Stone, but it's so darn expensive. Did you self-teach yourself?
Good luck with everything!
Hey!
I'm teaching French and planning on brushing up this summer and I'm starting a Spanish course next month.
I also didn't know you are having a baby. Clearly I haven't been tuned in enough. So CONGRATULATIONS!
And congrats on filling so many of your goals. That's fantastic! xoxo
